Outside my window...it’s dark and cold.

I am thinking...about bedtime.

I am thankful...for a pleasant day with 7 kids!

From the learning rooms...school is still off til Wednesday.

In the kitchen...we had ravioli and tossed salad! Yum!

I am wearing...pjs.

I am creating...a plan for Christmas.

I am going...to bed in just a few minutes!

I am wondering...what time I'll be getting up tomorrow.

I am reading...actually, I'm between books at the moment.

I am hoping...to start and finish Christmas shopping soon.

I am looking forward to...Christmas.

I am hearing...Jay and Britt getting ready for bed and being silly.

Around the house...I'm not doing anything else and you can't make me!

I am hearing...silence. The 3 older boys are upstairs and Logan is VERY quietly watching tv.

Outside my window...it’s a dark, late fall night.


I am thinking...about everything I need to get done tomorrow.


I am thankful...for all the food that's in my freezer.


From the learning rooms...the boys are all doing well in school and are pretty independednt when it comes to homework. I did help Jay with a few equations tonight but he got the idea fairly quickly.


In the kitchen...we had baked ziti for dinner. Yum!

I am wearing...my pajamas. It IS 8:30!


I am creating...ugh! This one gets me every time lol.

I am going...to bed soon!

I am wondering...when I'm going to get a job.

Outside my window...it's gray and pouring a lovely winter rain.

I am thinking...about my bed. Yes, already.

I am thankful for...that I've now made it through NaBloPoMo!

From the learning rooms...there hasn't been much going on due to Thanksgiving break. The boys head back to school tomorrow!

From the kitchen...Do I have to cook? I am not hungry and have no desire to even think about dinner.

I am wearing...my nightie. But shhhh lol.

I am creating...a headache with this question lol. Need I be creating something every time? LOL.

I am going...to snuggle into bed early tonight.

I am reading...well, I finished the Towers of Midnight in the Wheel of Time series. Loved it and I can not wait for the next! Meantime I've started a new series (only three books that I know of) by Rosemary Harris. The main character is Paula Holliday, a landscaper and accidental sleuth.

I am hoping...I start feeling 100% soon. Yes, I'm back on the mend AGAIN but STILL not a 100%.

I am hearing...Logan playing. Ty is being very quiet on the other computer, Jay is upstairs, and Cory is at a friend's for dinner.

Around the house...I just don't care lol.

Outside my window...it's overcast and dark. There were a few sunny moments today, but in general it was your typical winter day.

I am thinking...about a good book and a treat at the end of the day.

I am thankful for...God's timing!

From the learning rooms...Cory made honor roll last 9 weeks and Logan did great. Both Ty and Jay didn't do so well, as expected, but both seem more on track so far this 9 weeks.

From the kitchen...chili and cream corn casserole is on tap for dinner!

I am wearing...jeans and a purple shirt.

I am creating...I can't think of anything right now lol.

I am going...to start dinner as soon as I'm done with this post.

I am reading...the Towers of Midnight in the Wheel of Time series. Loving it but I'm not having as much time to devote to it as I usually do. (YUP! Still reading it but nearly done. I have less than a hundred to go!

I am hoping...I start feeling 100% soon. I'm down again today with a sore throat and fever.

I am hearing...silence lol. Logan is reading and the others are outside playing right up til the moment it's too dark to be out lol.

Outside my window...it's overcast and dark. It's also VERY windy today.

I am thinking...about what I have to get done the rest of the day.

I am thankful for...having a plan for dinner already!

From the learning rooms...getting the boys through their homework is currently pretty easy. Cory, Ty, and Logan are nearly completely independent. Jay is doing better right now because the topic in Math (graphs and data) is much easier for him.

From the kitchen...I'm making meatloaf and mashed taters tonight for dinner.

I am wearing...tan slacks and a blue shirt.

I am creating...a loving, clean, and cozy home for the boys (hopefully.)

I am going...to pick the boys up from school soon.

I am reading...the Towers of Midnight in the Wheel of Time series. Loving it but I'm not having as much time to devote to it as I usually do.

I am hearing...the Food Network on tv.

Around the house...everything is pretty caught up actually.

Outside my window...it's dark already but the sun was out earlier and it was actually warm!

I am thinking...about my nice, warm bed.

I am thankful for...hot tubs and saunas lol.

I am wearing...tan slacks and a black shirt.

I am remembering...that I need to call my mom.

I am going...to enjoy a treat if I can find one after the boys go to bed. Bad mommy!

I am reading...I'm actually between books at the moment. Very rare indeed lol. I have to go to the library.

I am hoping...the boys are all better and don't need to miss any school!

I am praying...for the health and finances of my loved ones!

I am hearing...the tv and J talking to Ty about the Animal Planet show they're watching.

On my mind...my friend Stephanie and her boys in Haiti.

From the learning rooms...Ty came home early with a fever. Everyone else is now sick too so school tomorrow? Looking pretty iffy.

Noticing that...my puppy is crazily chasing the cats. Awww, he just wants to play.

Outside my window...dusk is falling. There's a cool breeze and it smells like summer, even if it doesn't FEEL like summer.

I am thinking...that summer is flying by even though we've done nothing special.

I am thankful for...having enough of everything we need!

From the kitchen...we had hot dogs on the grill and some amazing pasta salad.

I am wearing...shorts and a t-shirt. Seriously...it's summer and I don't dress up. It's going to be either shorts and a t-shirt or pjs lol.

Outside my window...is a gorgeous breeze, the smell of fresh cut grass, and the hum of the lawn mower as Cory cuts the grass.

I am thinking...how blessed I am to live in America.

I am thankful for...boys who behave, even if the younger two are bored, at a solemn Memorial Day ceremony.

From the kitchen...I didn't cook much today but I did make a GREAT tossed salad with everything but the kitchen sink in it lol.

I am wearing...khaki shorts and a black tank shirt.

I am creating...a summer-fied home lol. (I opened windows, put in the ac's (thanks for your help, Cory!), and cleaned my grill.

I am going....to watch the season premiere of Jon and Kate Plus 8 tonight.

Outside my window...night is falling.

I am thinking...about an early bedtime tonight.

I am thankful for...unexpected time spent with my sister tonight. She stopped by at just the right time to eat dinner with us.

From the kitchen...I need to clean up still but dinner was fun and delicious tonight (squash casserole and cherry crisp with vanilla ice cream).

I am wearing...shorts and a green t-shirt.

FOR TODAY May 14th...
Outside my window...it's raining gently. I can see the lilac bush blowing in the breeze. It makes me happy.

I am thinking...that I am sad that L graduated, despite the fact it will now be harder for me to get any sort of break until next school year. I intend to use the little bit of time between now and when the 3 big boys get done school to spend a lot of one on one time with my baby!

I am thankful for...my boys. I can't imagine life without them, even on the worst mommying days!

From the kitchen...I need to decide what's for dinner tonight.

I am wearing...cotton pants and an itchy green shirt.

I am creating...routines and a schedule to try and make our lives better.

I am going...to have my tb test from Tuesday's physical read soon.

I am reading...believe it or not I am not currently reading a book. I need to decide what's next as I wait for my friend Camille to catch up to me in the Wheel of Time series lol.

I am hoping...J and Cory come home in a better mood than they were in this morning.

I am hearing...a Pink Panther cartoon on tv (L is watching it).

Around the house...things are pretty neat and clean, though there's always room for improvement.

One of my favorite things...is listening to the boys play together.
